Urban Cowfolk

I think there's a little bit of cowboy (or cowgirl) in almost every motorcycle rider. I feel this is especially true for leather-clad chopper riders all over the world, and probably a lot of the sport-tourers and enduro riders as well. I know that whenever I see a good western with a lot of gunfights and leather dusters and cowboy hats that something in me gets riled up and I have to ride. The same could probably be said for many of the rough riders we met at Daytona Bike Week in March, 2007.

This isn't enough for all people, though. Some people just can't get by on a motorcycle. Take Adam, one of our in-house sales experts. Adam needs the real thing. He needs two tons of fast-twitch muscle between his legs. He needs a bucking bronco tossing him into the air.

Even if it's mechanical.

Yeeeeee-haw! You ride that thing! Never say Uncle!

Magic mushrooms on your Honda Metropolitan scooter

We're not condoning illegal drug use, but we'd like to offer congratulations to the folks at Honda for shedding some of their strait-laced, Puritanical, white-collar ways and taking a walk on the wild side. With the release of their new special-edition SHedo SH125 scooter, Honda seems to be encouraging everyone to get out and enjoy all the little pink people! Check out these pre-release photos we took in November at the 2007 EICMA show in Milan:

I don't know about you, but this is definitely my ride of choice for the next local Grateful Dead concert!

Sie ist echt geil, nein?

As products are developed, the manufacturer will send us photos. Usually, they're high quality photos with great lightning that are shot in a neutral environment. But sometimes...

Wait, what's that?

It came from Sweden!

My spam box is usually full of ads for low-price prescription drugs and male enhancement pills. That is, until today.

Looking something like the bastard child of a motorcycle and a tow truck, Swedish company Coming Through has created a 2-wheeled monster capable of travel through congested roads while being able to tow a freaking car.

It's actually a pretty clever idea - the clearance of a motorcycle with the power to tow a car? That's fantastic! And for all those Goldwing riders who aren't getting enough storage, you can load up your car and bring it on your trip!

One thing I want to point out: Coming Through has some very cool wallpaper.

I can't wait to take my Retriever for a tour on the New England coastline.
